Web Design Type factory

Like the rest of the identity the type factory web site needs to follow a specific deconstructive inspired layout. Its how far you you push this layout without losing legibility which could be the issue. I will begin the development by using little or no grid and see how this ends up. I will obviously be staying true to the design colour scheme through this process.

This is playing on the idea of no grid, it is very apparent that this idea did not work and needs to be adressed, giving structure to a website is what gives its legibility  therefore it is obvious that i will need to create some structured layout and approach keeping the website in toe with the identity another way, more subtle way perhaps. the main reason this idea didn't work was the inconsistency of layout.

This is a more structured idea an incorporating the lines from the grid system to simple highlight the grid sytem with in the web site. this will enable me to stay true to the identity of the type factory

Here you can see how the grid system is starting the develop i have kept the deconstructive nature of the buttons from the original web design, which also adds to the idenity

an alternative page to add to the range of the website.

here you can see the detail as to how the structure of the website is defined by the grid system which stays true the identity.

The final three pieces of web design, is more structured than the majority of the identity.. but still keeps some resemblance of the grid sytem that runs through out the wayfinding and the id of the project.. i wanted to keep a relatively standard layout as this creates and easier interaction between the interface and the user of the website, much like the clarity of the wayfinding wasn't effected by the grid sytem used to design the.
