The aim of the middle section of the publication was to give an impression as to how long the Red phone box has been part of British heritage, the best way to do this, was to look at the major event in british history and compare them to the longevity of the red phone box.
I wanted to stay true to the colour scheme for the obvious reason of constancy, the most effective way to do this was to do a completely type based timeline.. the final outcome looked like this.
I think the time line fits well with the rest of the publication, and makes the point well that the red box has indeed been a major part of british history and should appeal to the target audience in saving the national identity it has given the UK. From a design perspective it is simple, yet effective, and easily understandable..
