After Effects workshop 3

looking at to day key frame interpolation and using illustrator paths

the default way that affect affects moves is using bezie curves.
using the pen tool will allow you to edit the curves.. you have all of the options given to you in illustrator.
 convert vortex/add/delete vertex.

These change the curves from a smooth point to corner point. This can be changed back.

HOLD KEY FRAME>>BELOW> NO CHNAGE BETWEEN KEY FRAMES>

This is what the key frames will look like when they are made into a hold key frames.

roving key frames give you a smooth change between key frames.

With illustrator stuff you can just copy and past onto the layer in after effects. This ca then be edited.. make sure you create outlines.
